Giving birth in France?
A set of French lessons to prepare for pregnancy and giving birth in France, focussing on vocabulary, listening, communicating, what to expect through the pregnancy appointments, what to expect during the birth and a stay in the maternity hospital.
I am a native English speaker with a degree in French, a French husband and have lived in Haute Savoie since 2010. Since moving here I have had two children, and even with a good level of French, the vocabulary of pregnancy, childbirth and caring for a baby was all new to me! I’d love to help other mums-to-be feel comfortable with the prospect of having a baby ‘in French’.
I propose a set of 4 one-hour-long lessons, at your home or in Saint Cergues, or via skype if preferred. This can be extended with listening and speaking practice lessons if desired, depending on your starting level of French.
